What is Epithalon?

Epithalon, also spelled Epitalon, is a synthetic tetrapeptide with the sequence Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly. It was developed on the basis of epithalamin, an extract from the pineal gland.

Its development goes back to work by the Russian researcher Vladimir Khavinson. With only four amino acids, Epithalon is one of the smallest peptides used in research.
